What we do

Glycan-specific bioaffinity tools for modern biopharmaceutical workflows

GlycoSeLect Ltd specialises in the development and production of Recombinant Prokaryotic Lectins (RPLs) — glycoselective bioaffinity compounds that recognise and bind specific glycan structures displayed on glycoproteins and other glycosylated biomolecules. RPLs help detect, analyse, separate and purify intact glycosylated biomolecules, and their recombinant origin provides consistency and scalability that traditional plant or eukaryotic lectins can find difficult to match.

Specific glycan recognition

RPLs bind defined glycan epitopes on intact glycoproteins and other glycosylated biomolecules.

Consistent recombinant production

Recombinant expression enables reproducible, high-quality products with consistent performance.

Fast detection and analysis

Simple anti-His detection integrates with standard analytical platforms, reducing labelling steps.

Scalable separation & purification

Immobilisation on diverse solid support matrices supports analytical and larger-scale workflows.

Technology

Engineered specificity. Consistent performance. Scalable production.

Recombinant production of prokaryotic lectins offers a controlled route to glycoselective bioaffinity reagents, with reproducible quality across batches and clear paths from analytical use to larger-scale purification.

Technical note

All RPL products display a poly-histidine tag, enabling simple detection using standard conjugated anti-His detection antibodies and reducing the need for in vitro labelling steps such as biotinylation. Products are available in different pack sizes and can be supplied in larger quantities if required.
